Shooting at the Scout biathlon

Scouts from Troop 4 in Ogden, Utah, participated in the Olympic Biathlon Experience at Soldier Hollow Cross-Country Ski Resort, the site of the 2002 Winter Olympic biathlon. The shooting portion of the biathlon competition is critical. Competitors must remove their skis, rush to the shooting line, catch their breath and shoot as straight as possible. The Scouts loaded their guns in advance of the actual competition.

My collection of photos from my very first trip outside the borders of Texas to Las Vegas and Ogden, Utah! Thank you to Heather for taking me! It was quite an experience I will never forget! Visited all the sights and sounds of The Strip, Fremont Street, and the Star Trek Experience! Then we flew to Ogden, UT to visit her sister and brother-in-law!
